Green silk hand fan with wood inspired by the Islamic art found in the Alhambra of Granada, this hand fan is decorated with intricate patterns from the tiled walls in this Spanish palace. Each fan is handmade in Spain and made from 100% silk.

Made of pure wood and natural silk, it is assembled in a small workshop in Valencia with more than 100 years of family tradition. The art of assembly, which is a manual process, is known as varillado, an almost lost technique.

I know the review count is low, but trust me, this is a fantastic fan. I've had it for a few years now. It's beautiful, and you can appreciate the colors even more with the sunlight filtering through.
It's so nice to flip open and fidget with. The wood retains smells if you're the sort to hit it with a perfume or scent.

I broke a bit of the boning bc I sat on it while it was my back pocket, but I repaired it best I could. After all , how can I toss it? It's one of my most treasured possessions.
