Salma draws a large emerald interlace outlined in navy over a sand ground, with pale blue eight-pointed stars and a mustard centre where the lines cross. The scale is bigger than the rest of the family, so the drawing stays readable once the scarf is knotted.

Printed on both sides: the design comes through with the same strength front and back, so there is no dull reverse to hide when you knot it.

Modal is soft, matte and light, with more body than silk and none of the shine. It drapes rather than slides, which makes it easy to wear all day.

180 x 65 cm, designed in Spain.

I know the review count is low, but trust me, this is a fantastic fan. I've had it for a few years now. It's beautiful, and you can appreciate the colors even more with the sunlight filtering through.
It's so nice to flip open and fidget with. The wood retains smells if you're the sort to hit it with a perfume or scent.

I broke a bit of the boning bc I sat on it while it was my back pocket, but I repaired it best I could. After all , how can I toss it? It's one of my most treasured possessions.
